Girl with red balloon tee shirt
This tee shirt is inspired by the work of art graffiti by Banksy called "GIRL WITH BALLOON" and comes with the balloon (not blown up)
I wanted to make this work of Art 3d and bring this piece to life. It can represent so much but to me it can also represent someone losing someone as a child. Maybe a parent, friend or just the lose of childhood itself.
This was the first piece I made in 2018 at the first Art Basel event I went to. I had the idea and created it without thought and wore it.
So many people loved it, stopped me on the street and took pictures of me or even expressed how much they loved it.
For me, it validated that my work is different, valuable and uplifting.
That year was the same year that the artwork pictured was sold at an auction for 1.2 million dollars and then started to shred itself.
Art speaks no language but uplifts us all
This is the only shirt in this collection that does not require helium to stay like the image. Once you blow this balloon up by mouth you can tie it onto the shoulder string provided and it will stay on your shoulder. (The other shirts require helium because they float in the air above you)
This is a limited edition collection, each shirt is numbered and signed by the Designer
